PART 1 — The Night of the Vanished Daughters
The city of Nurava was known for its tranquility. For centuries, its daughters—kind-hearted, intelligent, veiled in dignity—walked its lantern-lit streets without fear. But on one moonless night, destiny tore open a gate no one was prepared for.
The Omen
It began in the final hour before Fajr. Dogs howled without reason. The wind carried a burning smell, although nothing was on fire. And the city's oldest imam, Shaykh Imran al-Huzayfi, woke up trembling, whispering:
“Something has entered Nurava… something not human.”
Before dawn broke, shadows spilled from the mountains like ink—silent, disciplined, inhumanly fast. People of Nurava later named them: The Hollow Legion, an army rumored to be guided by unseen spirits and ancient jinn bound by forbidden oaths.
The Night of Screams
When the city’s lamps flickered, the Legion struck. Doors shattered. Walls cracked. And nearly two hundred young women—students, workers, daughters—were seized before anyone could even understand what had happened.
The Hollow Legion did not speak. Their faces were masked with burned iron. Their footsteps made no sound. When they moved through the streets, Nurava felt as if death itself had learned to walk.
The girls were dragged away toward the Great Murkaz Forest—an ancient jungle forbidden for centuries, haunted by the ruins of a lost kingdom and whispers of beings older than mankind.
The Jinn in the Trees
As the masked soldiers marched, something followed them. Something the soldiers themselves feared.
Eyes. Yellow, floating, watching from the trees.
One girl, Lahja bint Samahir, whispered with tears trembling in her voice:
“These soldiers… they are not alone.”
Every few minutes, a sharp, inhuman laugh echoed through the branches. Dry, cold, echoing like someone laughing from inside a tomb. The soldiers tightened their formation. Even they—merciless as they were—did not dare look back.
The Message Left Behind
By sunrise, Nurava was silent. Families woke to find their daughters gone. Doors smashed. Streets empty. And on the central gate, someone had carved a message with a rusted blade:
“We take what you cherish. Come if you dare. Deep into the Forest of Murkaz.”
When the elders read it, the ground under their feet seemed to shiver. Everyone knew what Murkaz was— A place where even soldiers refused to enter. A place where caravans entered but never returned. A place said to be occupied by an ancient jinn-clan called the Aal-Zahmar.
The Rise of the Three Brothers
Before despair consumed Nurava, three young men stepped forward—each of them devout, each trained in sacred knowledge and battle discipline.
Their names were:
- Saifan al-Miqdari — the silent swordsman.
- Rayhaan ibn Shalif — the scholar-warrior.
- Zahran al-Tafsir — the tracker with a heart of steel.
When they looked at the forest, the wind around them seemed to hold its breath.
“By Allah,” Saifan whispered, “we will bring them back… or we will die on our feet.”
With Qur’anic verses upon their tongues and courage burning in their hearts, the three brothers tightened their grips on their weapons and stepped toward the jungle that swallowed the daughters of Nurava.

Part 2 will continue the journey into the cursed Murkaz Forest…
PART 2 — The Forest That Devours Light
Entering Murkaz
Standing at the edge of the Murkaz Forest, Saifan, Rayhaan, and Zahran felt an unnatural cold creeping over their skin. The trees were impossibly tall, their branches twisted like the fingers of something long dead. No birds sang. No insects whispered. Even the sunlight refused to enter.
It felt as though the forest itself was watching.
Zahran knelt down, touching the soil. His voice was low.
“Something heavy passed through here… not human.”
Rayhaan tightened his cloak. “The Hollow Legion,” he said. “And something following them.”
The First Sign
Only a few steps into Murkaz, the brothers saw a torn piece of cloth hanging from a branch—a pale blue fabric embroidered with a single golden thread.
It belonged to Lahja bint Samahir.
Saifan’s jaw tightened. “They passed here not long ago.”
But the deeper they walked, the more the forest changed. The ground grew soft, like walking on soaked ash. The air tasted metallic. The silence grew so thick that even their breaths sounded unnatural.
When the Wind Spoke
A sudden breeze crept through the branches, but instead of a whistle…
they heard whispering.
Not words. Not language. Just a low, rattling murmur—like a voice that forgot how to be human.
Rayhaan immediately recited:
“A‘ūdhu bi kalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq…”
The whispering froze. The wind stopped. And then—
The First Attack
A tree behind them moved.
Not swayed… moved.
Its shadow detached itself, stretching across the ground like a living stain. From that darkness, two glowing yellow eyes opened—eyes with no eyelids, no pupils—just cold, ancient hunger.
A jinn of the Aal-Zahmar clan.
It rose from the shadow like a shape made of smoke and knives, its limbs shifting, its form unstable. When it spoke, its voice echoed from every direction:
“You should not have come… children of Adam…”
The forest trembled. Leaves curled. The ground cracked.
The Brothers Stand Firm
Saifan stepped forward, sword ready. But Rayhaan raised his hand. “Not steel,” he whispered. “Faith first.”
He recited with a steady voice:
“Hasbunallāhu wa ni‘mal-wakīl…”
The creature shrieked, a sound that split the air like shattering bone. Its form flickered.
Zahran threw a handful of dust toward it—dust he had taken from the entrance of Nurava mosque. As the dust scattered, the jinn recoiled violently, smoke boiling from its shifting limbs.
The shadow-creature screamed:
“They are waiting deeper… the Legion… the bound ones… and the girl with the voice of light… she resists them…”
And then it vanished— Not disappearing, but collapsing into the ground like a black flame being smothered.
Signs of the Captives
Shaken but alive, the brothers pushed forward. Soon, they reached an old stone archway covered in ancient runes—runic letters belonging to a forgotten kingdom said to have perished by the curse of the jinn.
At its base lay something that made their hearts twist:
Footprints. Small. Bare. Many of them.
Rayhaan whispered, voice trembling with fury:
“They were forced to march through here…”
And then, they found something worse:
A single shoe… belonging to a girl no more than twelve.
The Path of Darkness
As they crossed the arch, daylight ended completely. The forest extinguished all remaining light. Saifan struck flint to light a lantern— but the flame burned black.
A cold shiver raced through their bodies.
“This place,” Rayhaan whispered, “wars against the living.”
Towards the Unknown
The ground rumbled beneath them, like something massive was waking deeper in the forest. A smell of rusted metal and decayed leaves filled the air.
The Hollow Legion was close.
Zahran tightened his grip on his spear. “We move,” he said. “If they live, every heartbeat counts.”
And so the three brothers stepped deeper into the blackness, unaware that dozens of glowing eyes had begun following them silently between the trees…
— END OF PART 2 —
Part 3 will reveal the Legion's fortress deep inside Murkaz…
PART 3 — The Fortress of Echoing Chains
Deeper Into Murkaz
Hours passed as Saifan, Rayhaan, and Zahran pushed through the suffocating darkness of Murkaz. The trees grew tighter, almost closing like ribs around a dying heart.
Every few minutes, a distant metallic clatter echoed through the forest — as if enormous chains were being dragged across stone.
“Something ahead… something vast,” Zahran whispered.
The Second Attack
Without warning, the ground split open beneath their feet — a crack like thunder ripping the earth. A column of shadow erupted upward, swirling violently until it took the distorted shape of a human face.
This jinn had no body — only a massive floating visage with hundreds of needle-like teeth, each pointing in a different direction.
“I am the Watcher of the Gate…” it roared.
The brothers staggered back. The forest temperature dropped so sharply that frost formed on Saifan’s sword.
Rayhaan steadied himself and shouted:
“Allāhu Akbar! A‘ūdhu billāhi minash-shaytānir-rajīm!”
The monstrous face twisted, enraged.
Saifan lunged, slashing through the shadow. His blade didn’t cut flesh — but light exploded at the strike point, tearing a shriek from the jinn.
Zahran hurled a dagger engraved with Surah al-Falaq. The blade pierced the shadow, and the creature collapsed inward like a star imploding.
Its final words hissed through the trees:
“The captives cry in the fortress… but one among them sings verses that burn us… She is dangerous… She must be silenced…”
The Fortress Revealed
After the creature vanished, the forest finally opened into a vast clearing. And there it stood:
The Fortress of Echoing Chains.
A towering black citadel carved into a cliffside, covered with rusted chains thicker than tree trunks. Every time the wind blew, the chains clanked — producing a sound like thousands of prisoners screaming at once.
The Hollow Legion patrolled its walls, their armor stained with soot and ancient curses. No torches burned. No fires glowed. Yet the fortress was faintly lit — as if fed by an invisible source of deathly light.
Signs of the Captives
At the base of the cliff, the brothers found torn pieces of cloth, broken bangles, and marks in the dirt—proof that the missing daughters had been dragged inside.
Rayhaan touched a piece of fabric and closed his eyes.
“They are afraid… but alive.”
Suddenly, a faint sound drifted from inside the fortress —
A voice. A girl singing softly.
But the moment the melody reached the air, the chains rattled violently, as if trying to shut her up.
Saifan whispered:
“She is reciting Qur’an.”
A Fourth Warrior Appears
As the brothers prepared to approach the fortress, a shadow moved behind them. Instantly they turned, weapons ready.
A tall, cloaked figure stepped out from behind a tree, moving with calm confidence. His face remained hidden except for his eyes — sharply focused, glowing faintly with resolve.
He raised both hands, palms empty.
“I am not your enemy.”
Zahran narrowed his eyes. “Name yourself.”
The stranger lowered his hood.
“My name is Azeemar ibn Qudamah… I have been tracking the Hollow Legion for seven years.”
Rayhaan stepped forward. “You entered Murkaz alone?”
Azeemar’s eyes hardened.
“They took someone from me long ago. Tonight… I will finish what I began.”
The Secret Entrance
Azeemar pointed toward the cliffside. Beneath the massive chains was a crack in the rock — a narrow hidden tunnel.
“The Legion does not know of this path,” he said quietly.
Saifan nodded. “Then we move. For the captives. For Nurava.”
The four warriors approached the tunnel as wind screamed through the chains above — as if the fortress itself sensed their arrival.
— END OF PART 3 —
Part 4 will reveal what lies inside the Fortress… And the girl whose recitation terrifies the jinn.
PART 4 — Inside the Fortress of Echoing Chains
The Tunnel of Lost Breath
The hidden tunnel was narrow, dripping with cold moisture. Every few steps, the drip sounded like footsteps, though no one was behind them. The walls seemed to absorb light — Saifan’s lantern burned weakly, barely holding back the darkness.
Rayhaan paused and recited softly:
“Lā ilāha illā Anta, subḥānaka innī kuntu minaz-zālimīn…”
The echo traveled unnaturally far, as if the tunnel itself repeated his words reluctantly.
The Chamber of Shadows
After minutes that felt like hours, they reached a massive iron door half-buried in rock. It was engraved with symbols of bondage — chains, masks, and eyes that never closed.
Azeemar whispered:
“This is where they keep the captives before moving them deeper.”
Zahran gripped his spear. “Open it.”
The moment Saifan placed his hand on the door, the metal pulsed like something alive — then swung open with a groan that shook dust from the ceiling.
The Captives
Inside, the air was thick with despair. The faint smell of damp stone and fear clung to everything.
There were dozens of young women — exhausted, trembling, huddled together in dim light. None bore visible wounds, but their eyes carried terror that words could not hold.
The moment they saw the four warriors, some gasped, some cried, some fell to the floor in relief.
A frail girl whispered:
“Ar… are you real?”
Saifan stepped forward. “We are from Nurava. We came for you.”
A trembling murmur rose among the captives.
The Whisper of a Name
Rayhaan moved among them, counting. “But there were more taken,” he said. “Where are the others?”
One girl, older than the rest, pointed deeper into the fortress. Her voice was barely a breath:
“They took the strongest of us… the girl who recites Qur’an… Her voice burns their shadows.”
Zahran’s grip tightened. “Her name?”
The girl hesitated, then whispered:
“Her name is Azrah bint Luhaima.”
The moment the name was spoken, a metallic crash echoed through the fortress — as if the chains had reacted to hearing it.
The Legion Arrives
A deep horn boomed from above — a sound so heavy it made dust fall like rain.
Azeemar swore under his breath. “They know we are here.”
The walls trembled as armored footsteps echoed from the upper levels — dozens, maybe hundreds.
The Hollow Legion was mobilizing.
The Chains Speak
As they prepared to move the girls, the massive chains hanging outside the fortress began to rattle violently. The sound wasn’t metal — it was voices.
Voices crying. Voices begging. Voices warning.
“Leave… leave… before the Bound One wakes…”
A cold wave swept through the chamber.
The Third Jinn Attack
Without warning, the torches in the chamber extinguished. Darkness swallowed everything.
Then — a massive silhouette formed near the ceiling, stretching limbs like dripping tar. Its eyes glowed blood-red, and its voice was a deep, vibrating growl:
“She defies us with her verses… You shall not reach her…”
Saifan drew his sword. “Rayhaan — now!”
Rayhaan shouted:
“Ayat-ul-Kursī!”
His voice thundered through the darkness. The jinn shrieked, collapsing into smoke — but it wasn’t destroyed.
Instead, it reformed instantly, now larger, darker, angrier.
Azeemar stepped forward and threw a pouch of scorched black earth. When it struck the jinn, sparks tore through its form, and for a moment, its eyes dimmed.
The creature roared:
“She is guarded by the Bound One… He wakes… He comes…”
And the jinn melted into the cracks of the stone floor like boiling shadow.
Prepare for the Descent
The fortress thundered as something massive awakened beneath them — something capable of moving the entire mountain.
Saifan turned to the captives. “We will return for you. Stay hidden. Stay silent.”
Rayhaan pointed toward a staircase descending deeper underground.
“They took Azrah that way.”
Zahran spoke quietly, voice tight:
“And whatever waits below… is not human.”
With weapons drawn and hearts pounding, the four warriors stepped toward the darkness of the lower levels — where the true horror of Murkaz awaited.
— END OF PART 4 —
Part 5 will reveal the Bound One, Azrah’s terrifying condition, and the most dangerous battle yet.
PART 5 — The Awakening of the Bound One
The Descent
The staircase spiraled downward endlessly, slick with moisture and faint traces of rust. The air grew thick with heat, as though the mountain itself breathed fire. Each step reverberated with the distant sound of chains — a chilling prelude to what lay below.
Azeemar whispered, voice low: “This is the chamber of the Bound One… the Aal-Zahmar’s ultimate weapon.”
The Bound One Emerges
At the bottom, the four warriors found a massive underground hall. The ceiling arched high, carved with incomprehensible symbols. In the center, a figure lay chained in black iron, muscles taut like stone, eyes closed, yet somehow glowing faintly red.
The Bound One.
Its chains rattled violently as if sensing intruders. A deep growl rolled through the cavern — low, trembling, terrifying — shaking the walls and the souls of the warriors.
Azrah’s Voice
Far across the hall, behind a veil of shadows, Azrah bint Luhaima’s voice rose, faint yet powerful, reciting Qur’anic verses:
“Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem… Ayat-ul-Kursi…”
As her voice echoed, the chains binding the Bound One trembled. Sparks of light flashed from the carvings on the walls. The creature let out a deafening roar, shaking the ground beneath them.
The Hollow Legion Strikes
From the upper galleries, the Hollow Legion emerged — armored, disciplined, hundreds strong. They formed a circle around the Bound One, chanting in a strange, ancient tongue.
“They intend to control it… to weaponize it against all who oppose them,” Rayhaan said, eyes wide.
Saifan gripped his sword. “Then we break the circle.”
The First Clash
The four warriors advanced, stepping over broken chains and shattered stone. The Legion responded instantly — iron-clad figures attacking in perfect formation.
Steel clashed with steel, sparks flying in the dim glow.
Zahran hurled his spear, striking two soldiers at once. Azeemar moved like a shadow, taking out enemies silently yet effectively. Rayhaan chanted protective verses while deflecting attacks, light shimmering around him.
The Bound One Awakens
Azrah’s recitation grew stronger. The chains rattled violently. The Bound One rose from the floor with a deafening sound of grinding iron. Its massive frame, dark as obsidian, towered above all.
“I… am free,” it growled, its voice like mountains collapsing.
The Legion faltered. Their chants lost rhythm. Some fled into shadows. Others were struck down by the shaking walls and collapsing stones.
The Power of Faith
Rayhaan called out: “By Allah, the Bound One will obey no tyrant! Azrah, continue!”
Azrah’s voice rang out louder, purer, her words burning through the Legion’s dark magic. The Bound One turned towards the brothers and nodded — an understanding passing between them, ancient and inexplicable.
The Tide Turns
With a single motion, the Bound One smashed the stone floor, sending shockwaves that threw the remaining soldiers into chaos. Saifan, Zahran, and Azeemar pressed forward, clearing a path to the captives.
The imprisoned daughters began to weep in relief as the chains of fear around them seemed to weaken.
Victory in Sight
The cavern shook violently, yet for the first time since entering Murkaz, hope glimmered. The Hollow Legion’s power was fractured, the Bound One was free, and Azrah’s voice echoed as a shield of light and faith.
— END OF PART 5 —
Part 6 will conclude the story — the rescue of all captives, the destruction of the Hollow Legion, and the triumphant return to Nurava.
PART 6 — Return of Light to Nurava
Breaking the Chains
With the Bound One standing guard and Azrah reciting Qur’anic verses, the four warriors moved to the chambers holding the remaining captives. Chains shattered as the verses of faith echoed through the fortress, and fear dissolved from the hearts of the imprisoned daughters.
“By Allah, you are free,” Saifan declared as he cut the last binding.
The Fall of the Hollow Legion
The Hollow Legion, seeing their control shattered, fought desperately. But the fortress itself seemed to turn against them — stones collapsing, chains snapping, shadows fleeing. Bound One roared, crushing the remaining soldiers with overwhelming strength.
Azeemar and Zahran moved swiftly, striking the weakened soldiers. Rayhaan’s verses of protection and power created a shield of light, repelling dark forces.
Azrah’s Final Recitation
Azrah stepped forward, her voice steady and unwavering:
“Lā ilāha illā Allāh, Muhammadur Rasūlullāh… Ayat-ul-Kursī… Surah al-Falaq…”
The fortress trembled violently. The chains rattled one last time before collapsing completely. The dark shadows of the Legion vanished, never to return.
Escape to the Forest Edge
The warriors guided the captives through the hidden tunnel, emerging into the pale light of dawn at the edge of Murkaz Forest. Birds chirped tentatively. The wind carried the scent of freedom and earth warmed by sunlight.
The daughters of Nurava wept, hugged, and whispered prayers of gratitude. Their voices, once silenced by terror, now rang in joy and relief.
The Farewell of the Bound One
The Bound One, now calm and obedient to Azrah’s recitation, gave a solemn nod. It melted into the shadows of the forest, leaving only the echo of chains behind.
“Go,” it seemed to say. “Go in peace. Murkaz will remember.”
Return to Nurava
The group returned to Nurava, weary but victorious. Families rushed to embrace their daughters, tears of joy mixing with relief. The city, once silent with fear, hummed with life once again.
The Heroes Recognized
The four warriors — Saifan, Rayhaan, Zahran, and Azeemar — were honored for their courage and faith. Azrah’s voice was celebrated as a symbol of hope and divine guidance.
Nurava had endured the night of terror, but faith, courage, and unity restored its light.
— END OF PART 6 —
The captives were safe, the Legion destroyed, and Murkaz Forest returned to silence — a reminder of the power of faith and the courage of the believers.
