| Dark Grove Whispers – A thrilling tale of fear, faith, and heroism. |
📘 PART 1: The Night of the Hidden Shadows (English Version)
The town of Nivora slept under a pale silver moon — quiet, peaceful, unaware of the doom crawling toward it.
Far away, in the luxurious mansion of the well-known businessman Aldrin Voss, his only daughter Serah Vionelle was preparing for her late-evening study circle. Serah was known for her beauty, manners, and devotion to her Lord.
But destiny had already written a night she would remember forever.
On her way home from the Islamic Learning Centre, a strange silence swallowed the road. Even the birds stopped chirping. A cold wind brushed past her face, carrying with it a scent of the deep forest.
And then… everything changed.
A black van screeched in front of her.
Masked figures jumped out.
Before she could scream, a rough sack was thrown over her head.
Her hands were tied.
Her feet trembled.
Her voice faded.
She felt herself being dragged into darkness — into a place where even courage melts.
Hours later, Serah found herself inside the heart of the Dark Grove, a forest the villagers believed was home to a half-human, half-beast creature known as Grothar.
No one who hears his roar, they said, returns alive.
Her captors — a group of brutal criminals — tortured her ruthlessly.
Not a trace of mercy.
Not a drop of humanity.
Serah’s breaths grew faint. Her body collapsed every time she tried to rise.
In the corner of that abandoned shack, she whispered only one thing:
> “O Allah… protect my dignity… save me… or take my soul with honor.”
Meanwhile, far from the forest, a young man named Zayden Raqeeh, a wanderer known for his courage and unmatched fighting skills, heard rumors of a girl being taken into the Dark Grove.
People said:
“No one survives there.”
“Even looking toward the forest can cause a man’s heart to stop.”
“Only a madman would go there.”
But Zayden tightened his fists.
His jaw stiffened.
His eyes sharpened.
> “If she is alive, Allah has chosen me to save her.”
With a torch in one hand and faith in the other, Zayden stepped into the Dark Grove — where shadows moved, trees whispered, and unseen eyes watched every soul that entered.
Far inside the forest…
Grothar opened his glowing eyes.
He sensed a new prey.
And Serah…
Her pulse slowly weakened.
The night of hidden shadows had just begun.
📘 PART 2 (English Version)
Zayden stepped deeper into the Dark Grove.
The trees bent unnaturally, their twisted branches clawing at the cold air.
Every step echoed like a warning.
Every breath carried the scent of death.
But he did not stop.
“Allah is with those who stand for justice,” he whispered to himself.
Behind him, a shadow moved.
Not human.
Not animal.
Something… between both.
Zayden turned sharply—
but the shadow vanished.
He tightened the grip on his torch.
After walking for nearly an hour, he found a torn piece of Serah’s scarf caught on a thorny branch.
His heart clenched.
“She was here… and she was terrified.”
A low growl shook the ground beneath his feet.
Not the growl of a wolf.
Not of a tiger.
This sound belonged to a creature that should not exist.
Suddenly—
THUD!
A massive tree crashed behind him.
Zayden jumped aside.
A huge footprint appeared on the muddy ground—nearly as big as his chest.
“Grothar…” he muttered.
The villagers had exaggerated many things, but one thing was true:
Grothar was real.
And it was watching him.
Zayden continued moving until he found the old abandoned shack.
The door was half broken.
The smell inside was foul—blood, sweat, fear.
He burst inside—
And there she was.
Serah.
Lying unconscious on the cold floor.
Her hands bruised.
Her breathing shallow.
Her clothes torn from the struggle, but still clutched tightly around her body.
Her dignity—protected.
Her soul—fighting to stay alive.
Zayden knelt beside her.
“Serah… can you hear me?”
Her eyelids trembled, and she whispered:
“Please… don’t let them take me again…”
“You’re safe. By Allah, I swear I will protect you.”
He lifted her gently.
But before they could leave—
A roar shook the entire forest.
Branches snapped.
Birds scattered.
The earth trembled.
Grothar had sensed his prey escaping.
Zayden carried Serah close to his chest and rushed outside.
His eyes scanned the trees.
The shadows moved again.
Then he saw them.
Glowing yellow eyes.
Watching from behind the trees.
Tall… massive… breathing like a monster that fed on fear.
Zayden whispered:
“There is no power except with Allah.”
The creature stepped forward.
Not fully human.
Not fully beast.
Muscles like stone, height like a giant, claws dripping with moisture from the forest floor.
And its voice…
A deep, bone-cracking sound:
“Leave… the girl…”
Zayden stood firm.
“I won’t.”
Grothar let out a scream so violent that even the trees shook.
Zayden tightened his arms around Serah and prepared for the impossible.
The battle of Dark Grove—
had begun.
📘 PART 3 (English Version)
The moon hovered broken behind drifting clouds, casting trembling beams of pale light across the Dark Grove.
Zayden held Serah tightly as the monstrous figure of Grothar stepped closer, each footstep shaking the earth like thunder.
Grothar’s voice echoed:
“You should not have come here… human.”
Zayden didn’t flinch.
He whispered:
“Allah is my protector. You have no power over the righteous.”
Grothar roared, shaking the leaves off nearby trees.
The monster lunged toward him.
Zayden jumped aside, narrowly avoiding claws sharp enough to tear through stone.
With one arm holding Serah, he rolled to safety and stood again.
His heart pounded, but his faith was unshaken.
The creature growled, circling him like a lion stalking prey.
Suddenly—
Grothar swung his massive arm.
Zayden blocked the strike using a fallen metal shield near the shack.
The shield bent almost instantly.
But Zayden did not fall.
He whispered:
“Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel.”
(Allah is sufficient for us and the best disposer of affairs.)
The monster hesitated—
as if that name, Allah, pierced its cursed soul.
Zayden took the chance.
He struck Grothar’s leg with a heavy branch, stunning him for a moment.
Serah, half-conscious, opened her eyes.
Her voice trembled:
“Zayden… don’t fight it… it will kill you…”
Zayden replied firmly:
“No soul dies before its time. And Allah does not abandon the oppressed.”
Grothar rose again, angrier than before.
He lunged—
faster this time.
His claws scraped Zayden’s shoulder, leaving a burning wound.
But Zayden didn’t let Serah fall.
The pain was unbearable, but he stood.
The beast roared again, preparing for a final killing strike—
Then suddenly, a loud scream came from behind the trees.
One of the kidnappers ran out, terrified, shouting:
“Run! RUN! Grothar killed them all! He devoured them!”
But Grothar turned toward him, sniffed the air, and within seconds—
SLASH!
The kidnapper’s scream was cut short.
Silence filled the forest.
Serah shivered in Zayden’s arms.
Zayden whispered to her:
“Don’t look. Allah will judge every criminal.”
Grothar turned back to Zayden, now furious that his prey was escaping.
But then—
Something unexpected happened.
The beast paused.
Its breathing slowed.
Its glowing yellow eyes softened for a moment.
Zayden noticed a mark on Grothar’s chest—
burnt skin… shaped like a word.
A word in Arabic.
“Zulm.”
(Oppression)
Grothar growled in pain, touching that mark.
Zayden realized something terrifying—
This creature was not born evil.
It was once human.
Punished.
Cursed.
And the curse awakened whenever someone committed oppression inside the forest.
Grothar whispered in a painful, broken voice:
“Free… me…”
Zayden froze.
The monster was begging.
Before he could respond, the ground shook violently.
The curse intensified.
Grothar screamed and charged again—
losing control completely.
Zayden took one last breath and whispered:
“O Allah… guide my hand.”
The final clash was unavoidable.
The Dark Grove
held its breath.
📘 PART 4 (English Version)
The final clash shook the Dark Grove to its roots.
Grothar roared in fury, striking the ground, the trees, the very air around him trembling with fearsome power.
Zayden held Serah close, shielding her from the terror.
But he did not falter.
His faith burned brighter than any fear.
He remembered the words of the Prophet ﷺ:
"Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed."
He took a deep breath and stepped forward.
Grothar’s eyes, glowing like molten gold, fixed on him.
Zayden spoke calmly:
“I do not fight for hate. I fight for justice. By Allah, oppression shall not survive.”
The cursed creature hesitated, recognizing the strength of righteous faith.
With a swift, determined movement, Zayden swung the heavy branch again—this time targeting the cursed mark on Grothar’s chest.
A blinding light exploded from the mark.
The forest shook.
Grothar screamed in pain and fear.
But then, as the light engulfed him, a human voice whispered from within the beast:
“Mercy… freedom… forgiveness…”
The curse shattered.
Grothar fell to the ground, no longer a monster, but a trembling man.
His eyes filled with tears.
Zayden knelt beside him.
“Allah is the Most Merciful. Your past sins cannot define you if you repent sincerely.”
Meanwhile, Serah, regaining consciousness, whispered:
“Zayden… you saved me… truly…”
“Yes,” Zayden said.
“By Allah’s will, the oppressed shall be freed, and the oppressors punished.”
Suddenly, from the forest’s edge, the remaining kidnappers appeared—frightened, trembling, guilty.
Justice, Zayden knew, would not be left to chance.
He summoned the local authorities.
The criminals were arrested, their crimes laid bare.
The law would now deliver them to their deserved fate.
Serah stood, tears in her eyes, hands raised in prayer:
> “O Allah, guide us always on the path of righteousness, and protect us from oppression.”
Zayden and Serah walked out of the Dark Grove together.
The forest, once a place of terror, now seemed peaceful, bathed in dawn’s gentle light.
And in that light, they understood:
Faith, courage, and justice can overcome even the darkest evil.
The shadows of the Dark Grove faded, leaving only hope.
And the story of courage, survival, and divine justice became a tale whispered across Nivora, reminding all that Allah’s mercy and justice prevail—even in the darkest places.
