Title: “The Promise of Abdur Rahman”

Abdur Rahman had never believed in sudden miracles. But the day he met Sumaiya under the old banyan tree near the riverbank, something inside him shifted—quietly, softly, like a prayer answered after years of silence.

Sumaiya was known in the village for her kindness. She was soft-spoken, always helping others, always smiling with a calmness that felt like a gift from Allah. Abdur Rahman, on the other hand, was thoughtful, serious, and carried a heart that understood pain more than joy.

Their bond grew slowly. They spoke with respect, keeping their distance, following the boundaries of modesty taught by their deen. Yet, their hearts came closer every day.

But fate had already written a storm for them.

For weeks, Sumaiya had noticed a group of troublemakers in the village. They stared, they followed, and their presence cast a shadow of fear over her gentle life. She never told Abdur Rahman—she didn’t want to burden him.

One afternoon, as the sky darkened with heavy clouds, Sumaiya left the madrasa after teaching the younger girls. The road home was quiet… too quiet. She kept walking, clutching her bag tightly.

Behind her, footsteps.

She looked back—four men, the same faces she had feared.

Her heart pounded. She began to walk faster, whispering “Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel…”

But the path was empty. No houses nearby. No voices. Only her trembling breath.

The men blocked her way.
Their words were filled with cruelty.
Their intentions were darker than the coming storm.

Sumaiya tried to run. She screamed for help. But the wind swallowed her voice.

When the rain finally fell, the village heard a distant cry… and then silence.

That night, Sumaiya did not return home.

When Abdur Rahman heard the news, his world shattered. His chest felt hollow, as if someone had torn his heart from him. He ran through the muddy roads, calling her name again and again, refusing to believe the whispers.

But by sunrise, the truth stood before him—
a truth that broke the village,
a truth that made grown men weep,
a truth that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Sumaiya was gone.

And the light of Abdur Rahman’s world went out with her.

He dropped to his knees, holding the scarf she always wore, soaked in tears and rain.
“Ya Allah… why couldn’t I protect her?”
His voice broke, and the morning sky cried with him.

This was only the beginning—
the beginning of a pain that would carve itself into the hearts of everyone who knew her.
And for Abdur Rahman, it was the beginning of a vow—
a vow that would change his destiny forever.

Title: “The Day the Village Lost Its Light”

The morning after Sumaiya’s disappearance felt unreal. The village, which usually woke up to the sound of birds and the smell of warm bread, now woke up to whispers, fear, and trembling hearts.

Before sunrise, her body was found near the edge of the forest.

Women screamed. Older men fell to the ground crying. Children hid behind their mothers, frightened by the tears around them.

And Abdur Rahman…
he arrived running, gasping for breath, hope still burning inside him despite the voices saying otherwise.

When he reached the place, the world stopped.

There she was—his Sumaiya.
The girl whose smile once softened his heart, now lying in silence.

He knelt beside her, unable to breathe.
His shaking hands touched the corner of her scarf.

“Sumaiya… you promised me you would teach the children today,” he whispered, tears falling onto the earth.
“You promised me you would come back.”

But promises do not survive death.

The village imam placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
“Son, she is with Allah now. Her suffering is over.”

But Abdur Rahman’s suffering was only beginning.

He stayed by her body until they carried her away. The women washed her with trembling hands, whispering Surah Yasin through broken voices. Every drop of water felt like a tear.

During the janazah prayer, hundreds came. Even people from neighboring villages attended.
But Abdur Rahman could barely stand.
His legs shook, his lips trembled as he whispered:

“Oh Allah… give me patience. And give her justice.”

When they lowered her into the grave, the sky darkened again.
Just like the day she died.

As the final handful of soil fell, Abdur Rahman felt something inside him burn—a fire he had never known before.

He made a vow right there, beside her grave.

“I will not rest until the truth comes out. Until every oppressor who touched your life is brought before Allah’s justice. Even if I lose everything… I will not stop.”

The villagers watched him silently.

Some were afraid of what he might do.
Some admired his courage.
And some broke down crying, because they knew—
a gentle man had now been turned into a storm.

That evening, the entire village remained quiet.
No laughter, no music, no children playing.
Only sorrow drifting through the air like a heavy fog.

Inside his small room, Abdur Rahman opened the Qur’an, tears falling on the pages.
His voice shook as he recited:

> “Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient.” — Surah Al-Baqarah 2:153

But patience no longer felt enough.

He wiped his eyes, stood up, and whispered into the empty room:

“Sumaiya… for you, I will rise.
For you, I will fight.
For you, I will not fear anyone except Allah.”

And that night marked the beginning—
the beginning of his path toward justice,
the beginning of a battle that would shake the entire village,
and the beginning of a story that would break countless hearts.

⭐ PURE LOVE, PURE STORIES — Part 3 (Final Part)

Title: “Justice for Sumaiya, Peace for Abdur Rahman”

The days following Sumaiya’s death were heavy and silent.
Children stopped laughing.
Women avoided the roads.
And men gathered in small groups, whispering about justice, fear, and what fate the village had brought upon itself.

But Abdur Rahman was no longer the quiet young man he once was.
He had become a flame—burning with grief, burning with faith, burning with the promise he made beside Sumaiya’s grave.

He spent his nights in prayer, begging Allah for strength.
He spent his days speaking to villagers, gathering witnesses, searching for truth with a determination that shook the entire region.

And slowly… the truth began to unfold.

Some villagers had seen the gang near the forest.
Others heard screams that they ignored out of fear.
A few even admitted that the criminals had threatened them before.

Piece by piece, the puzzle came together.

Abdur Rahman went to the police station with every witness, every detail, every name.
The officers, moved by the pressure of the entire village and the sincerity of his heart, finally took action.

One by one, the criminals were arrested.
Their arrogance vanished.
Their cruelty turned into trembling fear.

During the trial, the courtroom was packed.
Men who never cried shed tears.
Women held one another tightly.
And Abdur Rahman stood tall—broken from inside, yet unshakable.

The judge’s final words echoed through the room:

“For the murder of Sumaiya, they are sentenced to the highest punishment under the law.”

A wave of relief washed over the room.
Some whispered “Alhamdulillah.”
Others simply cried.

But Abdur Rahman…
he didn’t smile, nor did he triumph.
He simply closed his eyes and whispered:

“Sumaiya, justice has been served.
May Allah grant you peace in Jannah.”

⭐ THE FINAL GOODBYE

Weeks later, Abdur Rahman returned to her grave with a white rose and a Qur’an in his hand.

The graveyard was quiet.
The wind was soft.
And the sky glowed with a golden afternoon light—
as if the world had paused to witness the final chapter of their story.

He sat beside her grave and began to recite Surah Ar-Rahman, the surah she loved the most.
His voice trembled, but he continued—
every ayah flowing from his heart like a final gift for her.

When he finished, he placed the white rose on the soil and whispered:

“You came into my life like a light,
and even in death, you changed me forever.”

A tear fell on the grave.

“I couldn’t protect you, Sumaiya…
but I protected your honor.
And I will spend the rest of my life helping others,
just the way you used to.”

He stood up, looked at the sky, and breathed deeply as if releasing years of sorrow.

The pain would remain.
The memory would remain.
The love would remain.

But now, at last—

Sumaiya had justice.
And Abdur Rahman had peace.

This was the end of their story…
A story of pure love, pure loss, and pure truth—
the kind of story that breaks hearts
but also opens them.
